Adding Google Adsense In Joomla
www.joomla.sweetnichan.com
- Enter administration area
- Click Extension; choose Module Manager
- Add New
- Choose “Banner”
- Go to next step.
- Set up like this (you can do it as you prefer, though):
- Write the title
- Enabled: yes
- Position: right (my case)
- Order: pick on what order
- Menu Assignment: Select menu item from the list
- Parameter:
- Count: 0 (zero)
- Search by Tags: yes
- Header text: copy and paste from your google adsense
I haven’t had any detail explanation for deeper understanding about detail set-up. It’s more like trial and eror until now. I only have a few understanding such as:
- If we didn’t set up the count to zero (0), a banner will show up.
- If we didn’t set up “search by tags” with yes, list of joomla links will appear.
Must read more reference, though (^.^).
Note: I haven’t tried it, yet, but I think we can also use like this section for non-google advertising because the column seems ok for html. So, if you have sponsor and they have the image and the link. You can just make html code for it. For image itself, i think we must first upload the image to the “Media Manager” then we can “show up” that image and at the same time linking it to the sponsor web address. Anyway, just a thought. Haven’t tried it myself (^.^). Anyway, isn’t it a good idea to try out? I will try it out at another time. Right now, I want to go around in etsy just to see some good stuff (^.^).
Bye bye and happy trying
