My Cook Taste Is Weird
I’m using a normal stove, not electrical stove in my hometown…
i think i a little bit forgot about the heat it produces…
Somehow, i heated the oil too hot so it made the onion and ingredients and all stuff i put in ‘burnt’, especially the onion…
the aroma and the taste were like lost! I didn’t cook like that. I was so confused what was going on. It’s only my theory, though. But burnt aroma may kill and ruin the taste. For some people, it may not have any big differences as long as not burnt like i mean black-burnt (-.-)’ but for people who love to eat or cook, this is quite obvious.
I guess, i will try to lower the heat even more next time. I was using electrical company stove in that mountain. The stove was too long to get heat (but once it got heat, it was unstoppable…so annoying). So, I always put the heat on almost maximum, then lower it before it’s too hot. Now, that I use non-electrical stove, i forgot that the way the heat produced was different. I put it on maximum and i think it also made the oil a little bit too overdone. So the cooking result weird…
I was hoping, at least, at least, there was an aroma but there wasn’t. The aroma disappeared. I knew sesame oil gave strong aroma to the food. Now, even the sesame oil aroma disappeared as well.
I’ll put medium or small heat/fire next time. I also just remembered that I never used high heat like what I did lately.
