I Noted I Learned

I post a thread in a forum…and I got this reply. This is a good reply and learn to all of us who sometimes only take it for granted from our family or friend:

“I changed my discount policy to something entirely different a few months ago. I offer anyone who wants something a ‘materials discount’. How that works is that I tell them what yarns I knit with and tell them to buy it in whatever colors they’d like. Then, I’ll knock what I pay for the yarn off of the price of my finished objects. By having them buy the materials, I don’t have to raid my inventory and mess up my accounting. It’s been four months and not one person has had the motivation to go buy materials for their request! ”

I’m always afraid when my friends giving me their handmade or product for free. I mean, since I start crafting seriously and seriously calculating the cost and price, I knew it wasn’t as ‘free’ as like that. It takes a lot of effort and energy to make. I always value their gifts…They are precious ones!

There’s 1 person that i want to make something for…it’s because, we never met, only ‘met’ in internet but somehow, she made me something and really, she didn’t sell the stuff she gave me until now. I was like aaaawwww. I didn’t even mind to pay it but she said it’s free for you. I was like (@.@). I don’t have her address, I wish i could send her something as surprise. Perhaps, I’ll just send her via my other friend. Now…i just don’t know what to give…perhaps a cute wallet or coin purse…

There’s another friend i also want to give but he’s a man…so I’m not sure to make him something cute (^o^). Perhaps a good meal treat will be awesome. Boys love to eat, don’t they? (^.<)
