Appreciating The “Missed”

I always hope that I can ‘really’ sell my crafts. Strangely, I actuall sold some but I didn’t really notice that as the transaction happened outside my webstores.

Backpack, some tote bags, a jacket…

I guess, I didn’t see what really going on was. Perhaps, a lot of people want my situation: direct selling, commissioning. On the other side, I want other people’s situation: online sales (^o^)””. Sounds familiar, eh? Wanting the other’s has?

I’m now trying to be more ‘sensitive’ for any…ANY…kind of opportunity. Direct sales, commissioning, etc. Even if it’s only a compliment. I mean, if I get one, meaning that my stuff is likeable. It has potential.

I told my friend that I sold my backpack to Japan once. He said with calm and meaningful: then it (my stuff) has a market. It’s my job now to be responsible to the market to keep them with me.

I’m appreciating every opportunity now. As I said, I’m trying to be more sensitive and then feel, grateful about it. When my best friend and sister  asked me for commissioning a jacket, I was like…ok…I’ll do it but didn’t really count it until last night. All of sudden, I thought: eh, it’s REAL! It’s commissioning! Other people who has an online store sometimes does it, a commissioning. Although, I’ve experienced something like this before but still my sensitivity failed when the jacket commissioning came. I was like back to the situation where  I wanted an online-sales from other people, unknown by me…

I’m now feeling grateful that I like sewing not only sew particular projects but many kind of projects. It really expands my opportunity to provide variety of stuff to the market.

It’s really-really good  when doing ‘direct sales’, because customer may see it directly a.s.a.p. Actually, they bought it after seeing the stuff in my web, yet, since they were mostly local buyers, the shipping time doesn’t take too long so I can get a ‘feedback’ quickly.

I guess whoever, whether I know or not know them, purchase from me, they  give me commissioning job, they are giving me a job, an order. I’ll do up to the top of my best to serve my skill and passion in everything they order.
